The use of a rental car is highly recommended as this will allow you to take full advantage of your time in Costa Rica and, of course, reach those out of the way places that often produce the most satisfying results. Requirements:
Must be 21 yrs old with a valid driver's license
18 - 21 may rent by leaving a double deductible
Deductible of $1200 - $2500 required on credit card ($2500 for 4Runner/Hiace)
