Honeymoon paradise…in our opinion, one of Costa Rica’s finest getaways. This brand new property, opened in June 2002, occupies a couple of beachfront hectares on the remote southern coast of Costa Rica's Nicoya peninsula . There are ten villas (three of which are two bedroom, two stories) set in gardens fashioned from the tropical forest, accessed by winding pathways of soft-edged flat pebbles. Each villa is a self-contained unit of about 1000sq feet with lounge area (with kitchenette) and open balcony, open air, yet private, bathroom in enclosed garden, and bedroom. The bedrooms consist of a queen size bed and a private, outdoor bathroom with a bathtub--bathe underneath the stars…then retire to bed leaving the doors and windows open to enjoy the cool tropical breeze sleeping underneath a mosquito net. You may want to snuggle up, close the windows and doors, and turn on the a/c. Each room has telephone access as well. There is a beachfront gourmet restaurant which serves food from a diverse menu prepared by on-site chefs. Breakfast is complementary. There is a palm roofed yoga center on the property where you can take classes in yoga, aerobics, or karate. Spend a few hours in the “art room” firing a pot or painting a picture. There is a also a screened-in workout center hidden in the trees which has the latest universal gym equipment. In short, luxurious accommodations in a tranquil, natural atmosphere…gourmet food, great service and beachfront.
